I've been thinking a lot about this on my second read. Does this lead anyone else to suspect foul play in Himself's de-mapping? The first time through, I just assumed the suicide was narrated reliably. Now, the contrast between the probably lack of head vs. digging it up is really sitting wrong. As in, was JOI beheaded to recover the master cartridge, then the scene was made to look like a suicide? Why the gift ribbon on the bottle of Wild Turkey?

Any help will be apprecited.
